Good evening. I’ll do my best. I am a better writer, than a reader…

Today is NOT a day to look back on our losses; it is a day of celebration, of new beginnings, of looking forward to a hopeful future. I hope that today marks a new beginning for our family and for yours.
Today we are fortunate to have a wonderful candidate for the very first Kaytlyn Madison Thomas Memorial Scholarship. This $2000 award is intended to support our daughter’s dream of a degree in Fashion from UW-Stout within the Mosinee Community. I’d like to share a few comments from this outstanding MHS candidate, Ana Lambert:
“A personal value I cherish most is helping others and being kind.” “Helping others, being kind, treating others how you want to be treated, and good work ethic helps communities, families, and yourself ultimately making our world a better place.”
We, the Thomas Family, are honored to be able to support Ana Lambert on her journey to fashion and fame.
From our family’s Scholarship Review, my sister commented,
“…reading through Ana’s application brought me tears because in her dreams I could see some of Kaytlyn’s aspirations too. “
I agree, and probably most important, our family believes that,
“Kaytlyn would want Ana, they were skating friends and for many years competed against each other in skating but were supportive of each other. “
Today, we as a family get an opportunity to indirectly experience some of Kaytlyn’s hopes, dreams, and career aspirations through the efforts of another from our community.
Ana, please accept this check for $2000 to help you get started on the exciting road ahead!

We look forward to hearing about your progress and sharing in your success.
The best of luck to you, Ana.
Thank you.
